The documentary, Third Eye Spies, depicts the majority of what is described here through archival footage and interviews of the participants in various programs. It's interesting to think that these experiments were running concurrently at Stanford along with the foray into the uses of LSD. So much funding went into these endeavors. I'm skeptical that any of it was ever truly shut down. It seems far more likely that the research was simply renamed and shuffled elsewhere.
